Hope College swimmer Molly Meyer clocked the third-fastest 200-yard backstroke in school history during Saturday's preliminaries at the NCAA Division III Championships in Shenandoah, Texas.
The sophomore from South Bend, Indiana (John Adams HS), clocked a swim of 2 minutes, 4.70 seconds and finished 24th. She did not advance to the finals.
The Flying Dutch finished 24th out of 46 scoring teams at nationals with 33 points.
Emory, Georgia won the national title.
