The Hope College men's track & field team won the MIAA Jamboree for the second season in a row on Saturday, totaling 1,015 points during the seven-team event at Adrian College.
The Flying Dutchmen recorded the top performances in three events, including a sweep of hurdles.
Sophomore Ross Whitman of Monroe, Michigan (St. Mary Catholic Central HS), posted a winning effort in the 110-meter hurdles. He had a run of 15.82 seconds.
Sophomore Ryan Arndt of Holland, Michigan (Zeeland West HS), raced to the fastest 400-meter hurdle time at 57.73 seconds.
Junior Boone Marois of Traverse City, Michigan (Traverse City HS), clocked the best 100-meter dash effort of 11.04 seconds.
Junior Andrew Borror of West Lafayette, Indiana (Harrison HS), took second in the 1,500 with a run of 4:05.95.
Sophomore Julian Morrison of Aurora, Illinois (Waubonsie Valley HS), was runner-up in the 10,000 meters at 33:03.70.
Freshman Matt Ruff of Wayne, Illinois (Wheaton Academy HS), placed runner-up in the 400 meters at 50.53.
Marois was runner-up in the 200 meters at 22.47.
Alma finished runner-up with 673 points, while Calvin took third with 612. The MIAA Jamboree does not factor into determining the league champion.
