Winning pitcher Sydney Jones of South Lyon, Michigan (South Lyon East HS), raised her record to 4-1. She allowed three hits and struck out six over four innings.
Junior Kate Laverty of Eaton Rapids, Michigan (Eaton Rapids HS), earned her first save with three scoreless innings.
In Game 2, Hope overcame a 2-0 deficit after the first inning.

Hope tied the score on a two-run single in the third from senior third baseman Kelsey Cooper of Romeo, Michigan (Romeo HS).
Winning pitcher Natalie Hiser of Westland, Michigan (Livonia Churchill HS), improved to 4-0 after yielding five hits and two runs over 4 1/3 innings.
