Hope College senior Jacob Everly of Woodstock, Illinois (Marian Catholic Central HS), finished first in the javelin at the North Central, Illinois Dr. Keeler Invitational in Naperville, Illinois.
Everly heaved a winning toss of 156 feet, 3 inches.
Freshman Matt Ruff of Wayne, Illinois (Wheaton Academy), placed 16th in the 400 meters by clocking a time of 50.41 seconds. Sophomore Richard Medina of Bensenville, Illinois (Timothy Christian HS), was 31st in 53.09.
Sophomore Nicholas Salomon of Troy, Michigan (Detroit Jesuit HS), took 17th in the 800 meters at 1:54.60. Freshman Brandon Wolliston of Remus, Michigan (Chippewa Hills HS), was 43rd at 1:58.70.
Medina placed 21st in the 400 hurdles at 1:00.88.
Freshman Ben Pederson of Mount Prospect, Illinois (Prospect HS), came in 22nd in the 3,000 steeplechase at 9:44.72.
Junior Austin Elluru of Portage, Michigan (Kalamazoo Hackett Catholic Central HS), took in 64th in the 1,500 meters at 4:13.21.
Sophomore Julian Morrison of Aurora, Illinois (Waubonsie Valley HS), was 65th in the 5,000 meters at 16:26.41.
