Hope College's Winton Munch has been selected the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Men's Golfer Of The Week for tournaments played through September 20.

The junior from Traverse City, Michigan (Traverse City Central HS), led the Flying Dutchmen with a 1-under-par 71 at the MIAA Jamboree on Saturday, Sept. 19 at Pine River Country Club in Alma.

Munch tied for second place individually and helped the Flying Dutchmen win the third league jamboree of the season and take the overall lead from Calvin.

This is the first time Munch has been named MIAA Golfer Of The Week. He is a two-time MIAA MVP.
