Hope College freshman Rachael Braginton has been chosen the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week for games played through Saturday, Sept. 5.

The forward from Grandville, Michigan (Grandville HS), scored five goals over three matches last week to lead the Flying Dutch to a 3-0 start to their season.

Braginton posted two-goal games during a 5-0 win vs. Cornerstone on Tuesday, Sept. 1 and a 4-1 win at Otterbein, Ohio on Friday, Sept. 4.

Braginton also scored one goal during a 3-0 win at Ohio Northern on Saturday, Sept. 5.

Hope returns to action on Saturday, Sept. 12, when the Flying Dutch host Adrian at Van Andel Soccer Stadium. Kickoff is noon.
