Hope College's Sarah Sheridan has been named Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Women's Diver of the Week for meets through January 16.

The senior from Richmond, Indiana (Richmond HS) set a school record in 1-meter diving during the Michigan-Illinois Quad on Saturday at Holland Community Aquatic Center.

Sheridan surpassed her own school record with a score of 295.40 points.

Sheridan owns all four diving records at Hope.

Sheridan has been selected MIAA Diver of the Week for the second time in her career and the first time this season.
