The Hope College women's swimming & diving team completed its second undefeated Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association dual meet season in three years Saturday with a 135-57 win at Alma.
Coach John Patnott's Flying Dutch won all five league dual meets this season. They went 4-0 during the 2013-14 season.
Hope next will compete at the Feb. 17-20 MIAA Championships at Calvin.
Senior Kaleigh Mullen of Rochester, Michigan (Notre Dame Prep HS) won the 500-yard freestyle in 5 minutes, 36.72 seconds.
Junior Payton Hoff of Clarkson, Michigan (Notre Dame Prep HS) had a winning 100 freestyle swim of 58.90.
Junior Molly Meyer of South Bend, Indiana (John Adams HS) posted the fastest time in the 200 freestyle at 2:01.82.
Sophomore Elizabeth Fris of Holland, Michigan (West Ottawa HS) clocked the best effort in the 100 butterfly of 1:04.93.
Freshman Abigail Brinks of Commerce Township, Michigan (Walled Lake Northern HS) finished first in the 1,000 freestyle with a swim of 11:30.13.
Freshman Elisabeth Craig of Grand Rapids, Michigan (East Grand Rapids HS) took first in the 100 backstroke at 1:05.17.
Hope had the top efforts in both relays.
The 400 medley relay of sophomore Julia Hines of Vienna, Virginia (James Madison HS), Fris, sophomore Rachel Barszcz of Canton, Michigan (Plymouth Canton HS) and freshman Sara Hudson of Novi, Michigan (Notre Dame Prep HS) went 4:25.12.
The Flying Dutch recorded the fastest 400 freestyle relay with Barszcz, Craig, Hines and Hudson going 3:57.92.
