The Hope College men's cross country team placed 22nd at the Wisconsin-Oshkosh Kollege Town Sports Invitational on Saturday.
The Flying Dutchmen totaled 621 points for their spot in the 37-team field at Lake Breeze Golf Course in Winneconne, Wisconsin.
Senior Julian Morrison of Aurora, Illinois (Waubonsie Valley HS), pictured, topped Hope with a 66th-place, 8K run of 26 minutes, 22 seconds.
Senior Tyler Brinks of Commerce Township (Walled Lake Northern) finished 81st at 26:32.
Senior Ben Pederson of Mount Prospect, Illinois (Mount Prospect) came in 142nd at 27:18.
Junior Jacob Jansen of Johnston, Iowa (Johnston) was 157th at 27:36.
Freshman Nathan Schloff of Holland, Michigan (Holland Christian) rounded out Hope's scoring in 175th at 27:55.6.
Other Hope runners were senior Nicholas Salomon of Troy, Michigan (Detroit Jesuit) in 181st at 28:00 and sophomore Ryan Holman of Holmen, Wisconsin (Holmen) in 185th at 28:09.
The Flying Dutchmen's next race is the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Championship hosted by Albion College on Saturday, Oct. 29 at Tomac Woods Golf Course.
