Hope (11-3-2 overall) has clinched a berth in next week's MIAA Tournament with a 10-2-2 league record. The Flying Dutch could clinch a top-two seed with a win today or a Calvin loss to Alma. Hope trail first-place Kalamazoo by only one loss in the MIAA standings.
Hope's next match is Monday, Oct. 31 at Calvin. The 3 p.m. game is the regular-season finale for the Flying Dutch.
With a school-record 20 goals, Elizabeth Perkins entered the week tied for fourth in goalscoring in NCAA Division III. She also tops the MIAA in goals this season, including 17 in league matches. She is tied for 13th all-time among MIAA goalscorers. The league record is 29.
