The Hope College men's cross country team took 11th out of 15 teams at the Principia Invitational on Saturday in Elsah, Illinois.
The Flying Dutchmen scored 276 points.
Sophomore Nicholas Johnson of Grand Haven, Michigan (Grand Haven HS) led Hope with a 52nd-place run on the 8K course of 28 minutes, 19.25 seconds.
Freshman James Cerone of Fishers, Indiana (Fishers) took 63rd at 28:35.86.
Senior Cameron Jones of Holland, Michigan (Black River) finished 75th at 29:01.63.
Freshman Joseph Dawson of Richland, Michigan (Gull Lake) came in 82nd at 29:18.95.
Freshman Andrew Schuring of Cedar Rapids, Iowa (Linn Mar) rounded out Hope's scoring in 93rd at 30:05.27.
Other times for Hope came from freshman John McMorris of Saline, Michigan (Saline HS) in 95th at 30:31.81, and freshman Ryan Kieta of Wheaton, Illinois (Wheaton North) in 107th at 31:05.95.
The Flying Dutchmen return to action on Friday, Oct. 14 at the Muskegon Community College Invitational.
