The 10th-ranked Hope College volleyball team opens postseason play tonight with a 5:30 p.m. semifinal match against Saint Mary's College at Calvin College.

Records: Hope 23-5, Saint Mary's 15-13

Tickets can be purchased at the door: General Admission - $7; MIAA Faculty/Staff with ID, Non-MIAA students - $5. MIAA students will be admitted free with their student ID.

Today's winner advances to Saturday's 6 p.m. championship match at Calvin to face either the top-seeded Knights (26-0) or fourth-seeded Adrian (15-13).

Hope is seeking its 11th consecutive appearance in the MIAA Tournament final and 14th overall. The Flying Dutch have meet Calvin each time in the championship match during that stretch.

Hope has won the MIAA Tournament twice: 2010 with a 3-0 win over Calvin and 2000 with a 3-1 over Calvin.

The Flying Dutch finished the regular season with a 13-3 league record. Hope lost to Calvin twice in three sets and at Albion in three sets.

This is the second time the Flying Dutch have faced Saint Mary's in MIAA Tournament play. Hope swept the Belles in a 2010 first-round match. The current four-team MIAA Tournament format was started in the 2011 season.

The Flying Dutch went 2-0 against Saint Mary's during the regular season. Hope won 25-21, 25-22, 27-25 on September 23 at DeVos Fieldhouse behind a match-high 13 kills from senior Sarah Feldpausch and 28-26, 25-13, 27-25 on October 22 at DeVos Fieldhouse behind a team-high 11 kills from senior Courtney Van Houzen.
