The Hope College women's and men's track & field teams will compete in the inaugural Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Indoor Track & Field Championships today at Trine.
The women's and men's meet begins at 9:30 a.m. today with field events. Running events start at noon.

In the men's meet, the Flying Dutch are second in the 4x400 relay. Senior Gavin Midlam of East Lansing, Michigan (East Lansing HS), junior Cameron Jones of Holland, Michigan (Black River HS), sophomore Matt Ruff of Wayne, Illinois (Wheaton Academy) and junior Nicholas Salomon of Troy, Michigan (Detroit Jesuit HS) are second at 3:31.76.
Freshman Louis Kopp of Spring, Texas (Providence Classical HS) stands second in the men's triple jump at 13.13 meters.
Senior Boone Marois of Traverse City, Michigan (Traverse City Central HS) is third in the 200 meters at 22.87 and fourth in the 60 meters with a time of 7.07.
Salomon sits fourth in the 800 meters at 1:57.85.
The Flying Dutch are seeded first in five women's events.
Senior Julia Stock of Norton Shores, Michigan (Grand Haven HS) holds the top seed in the 5,000 meters at 17 minutes, 55.34 seconds.
Junior Erin Herrmann of Wheaton, Illinois (Wheaton-Warrenville North HS) is first in the 3,000 meters at 9:58.08.
Sophomore Rachel Satkiewicz of Bloomfield Hills, Michigan (Seaholm HS) earned the top seed in the 400 meters with a time of 1:01.46.
Sophomore Rachael Webb of Grand Rapids, Michigan (Grandville HS) is first in the 800 meters at 2:19.15.
Herrmann and Webb teamed with freshman Sarah Neumar of Ann Arbor, Michigan (Huron HS) and senior Emma Ropski of Park Ridge, Illinois (Maine Township HS) for the top seed in the distance medley at 12:20.01.
