Hope College's Winton Munch has qualified for the final two rounds of the NCAA Division III Championship as an individual.
The junior from Traverse City, Michigan (Central HS) is tied for 31st at 7-over-par after carding a second-round 76 at Midvale Country Club in Rochester, N.Y. Munch was the top-five individuals not playing on one of the 15 teams who made the cut.
The final two rounds will be played at Midvale. Munch tees off at 8:20 a.m. on Thursday.
The Flying Dutchmen finished the team standings tied for 23rd at 53-over after totaling a second-round 316.
Freshman Josh Gibson chipped in a second-round 79 for Hope. He was 12-over and tied for 67th.
Freshman Andrew Goble of Brighton, Michigan (Brighton HS) shot a second-round 80.
Sophomore Kade Hoeksema of Byron Center, Michigan (South Christian HS) finished with a second-round 81, while freshman Ben Kramer of Spring Lake, Michigan (Spring Lake HS) had an 85.
