Hope is off to a 2-1-1 start to the season, including a 1-0-1 record in Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association play that has the Flying Dutch tied atop the league standings with four points with Kalamazoo and Olivet. Trine brings an 0-2-2 overall record and an 0-2 mark in MIAA matches.

Today is the 20th match all-time between Hope and Trine. The Flying Dutch lead the all-time series by an 18-0-1 margin.

Forward Elizabeth Perkins has been selected the MIAA Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week for matches played through September 11. This is the first time the senior has received the weekly recognition in women's soccer. Perkins scored a goal in each of Hope's victories last week.
