Welcome to tonight's Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association match between the Hope College Flying Dutch and Albion College Britons at Van Andel Soccer Stadium.

Hope is off to a 3-1-1 start to the season, including a 2-0-1 record in MIAA play that has the Flying Dutch tied atop the league standings with Kalamazoo. Albion brings in a 2-2-1 overall record and a 1-2 mark in MIAA matches.
This is the 50th all-time match between Hope and Albion. The Flying Dutch lead the series 35-10-4, including a pair of 3-2 victories last season.
Hope features two of the MIAA"s top five goalscorers. Senior Elizabeth Perkins is tied for second with five goals. Junior Allie Wittenbach ranks fifth with four goals. Albion's leading goalscorers have two goals apiece: Molly Hancock, Samantha LoRocca and Domenique Sarnecky.
Hope's next match is Saturday, Sept. 17 at Olivet with a noon kickoff. The Flying Dutch return to Van Andel Soccer Stadium on Tuesday, Sept. 20 for a 7 p.m. match against Alma.
