Josh Gibson and Winton Munch fired 3-under-par 68s to lead the Hope College men's golf team to victory at the Adrian College Irish Hills Invitational in Jackson.

The Flying Dutchmen carded a final round team score of 281 for a 36-hole total of 572. They finished 28 strokes ahead of runner-up Calvin in the eight-team event at Grande Golf Club.

Gibson claimed medalist honors. The sophomore from Grandville, Michigan (Grandville HS) finished at 5-under par (71-68—159).

Munch tied for second. The senior from Traverse City, Michigan (Central) was two strokes behind Gibson.

Sophomore Ben Kramer of Spring Lake, Michigan (Spring Lake) placed fifth at 1-over (74-71—145).

Sophomore Andrew Goble of Brighton, Michigan (Brighton) came in ninth at 5-over (75-74—149).

Junior Kade Hoeksema of Byron Center, Michigan (South Christian) was 10th at 7-over (73-78—151).

Hope returns to action on Wednesday, Sept. 21 at the MIAA Jamboree at The Medalist Golf Club in Marshall, Michigan.
