Hope College's Josh Gibson has been selected the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Men's Golfer of the Week for events through September 25.

The sophomore from Grandville, Michigan (Grandville HS) is the recipient for the second consecutive week and the second time in his career.

Gibson led all golfers at Wednesday's MIAA Jamboree by firing a 4-under-par 68 at The Medalist Golf Club in Marshall.

He finished two strokes ahead of the nearest competitor with his second 68 in as many rounds.

Gibson helped the Flying Dutchmen win the event and extend their lead in the overall team standings after 36 holes.
