The Hope College men's cross country team finished fourth at the Muskegon Community College Invitational on Friday.
Junior Ryan Holman of Holmen, Wisconsin (Holmen HS) led the Flying Dutchmen in the 17-team event with a 23rd-place time of 26 minutes, 35.8 seconds.
Senior Jacob Jansen of Johnston, Iowa (Johnston) placed 27th at 26:48.1.
Freshman Zackary Murphy of Coldwater, Michigan (Coldwater) came in 41st at 27:18.7
Junior Nathan Schloff of Holland, Michigan (Holland Christian) took 59th at 27:34.1.
Senior Nicholai Shaw of Allendale, Michigan (Home School) rounded Hope's total of 108 points with a 62nd-place run of 27:40.9. Lansing Community College won with 46 points.
Junior Brett Slayton of Holland, Michigan (Hamilton) finished 64th at 27:42.6, while sophomore Ty Hergenreder of Davison, Michigan (Goodrich) was 67th at 27:49.1.
