Box Score 2 Freshmen Amanda Bandrowski and Claire Hallock both won two singles matches to help the 34th-ranked Hope College women's tennis team to a split of nonleague road matches against nationally ranked opponents over the weekend.
The Flying Dutch are now 2-2 on the season after beating No. 40 Oberlin, Ohio 6-3 on Saturday after losing to No. 20 Case Western Reserve, Ohio 6-3 on Friday.
Bandrowski, of Traverse City, Michigan (St. Francis HS), went 2-0 at No. 2 singles, while Hallock, of Lakeland, Florida (Harrison Center), finished unbeaten at No. 3 singles.
Bandrowski improved her singles record to 8-1.
Hallock is now off to a 7-2 start.
Hope returns to action on Saturday, March 4 with a 2 p.m. home match against No. 22-ranked Denison, Ohio.
