Nicholas Salomon Places 9th In Nation In 800 Meters, Benjamin Pederson 12th In Steeplechase

Hope College's Nicholas Salomon placed ninth in the nation in the 800 meters at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships on Saturday at SPIRE Institute in Geneva, Ohio.

The senior from Troy, Michigan (Detroit Jesuit HS) clocked a time of 1 minute, 52.85 seconds.

Junior Benjamin Pederson of Mount Prospect, Illinois (Prospect) took 12th in the 3,000-meter steeplechase.
