Hope College's Hilary Curry has been chosen the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week for competition between September 4-10.
The junior from Grand Rapids, Michigan (Grandville Calvin Christian HS) scored three goals over two matches last week as the Flying Dutch went 2-0 to start MIAA play.
Curry netted two second-half goals in a 3-0 win at Albion on Wednesday. Her offense came with a 60-second span and broke a scoreless tie.
Curry capped a 2-0 win against visiting Adrian on Saturday at Van Andel Soccer Stadium by scoring 1 ½ minutes in the second half after the Flying Dutch took a 1-0 lead.
This is the first time Curry has received the MIAA weekly honor.
