The Hope College women's soccer team will make its first sectional appearance in the NCAA Division III Tournament this weekend at Christopher Newport University in Newport News, Virginia.

The 18th-ranked Flying Dutch will play host and 11th-ranked Christopher Newport in a 7:30 p.m. sectional semifinal on Friday, November 16.

The match follows the 5 p.m. semifinal between No. 2 Messiah College (Pennsylvania) and No. 17 Lynchburg University (Virginia).

Friday's winners will meet in the 6 p.m. semifinal on Saturday, November 17 at Christopher Newport.

The sectional champions advances to the Friday-Saturday, November 30-December 1 national championship in Greensboro, North Carolina.

Hope is 16-2-2 on the season. Christopher Newport, from the Capital Area Conference, is 19-1.
