Hope College's Justin Freeman has been selected the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Men's Indoor Track & Field Runner of the Week for meets from January 29-February 4.

The junior from Holland, Michigan (West Ottawa HS) is recognized after winning the 60-meter dash and helping the Flying Dutchmen win the 12-team Windy City Invitational at the University of Chicago on Saturday.

Freeman clocked a 60-meter time of 7.05 seconds to lead a 1-2-3 finish for Hope in the event.

Freeman has the second-fastest 60-meter time in the MIAA season.
