Three league matches in six days proved no problem for the Hope College women's tennis team.
The Flying Dutch swept visiting Kalamazoo College 9-0 Tuesday at DeWitt Tennis Center for their third Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association victory since Thursday.
Hope is now 3-0 in MIAA matches and 5-6 overall.
Three Flying Dutch singles players extended individual winning streaks as well.
Sophomore Claire Hallock of Lakeland, Florida (Harrison Center HS) won for the ninth consecutive time with a 6-0, 6-2 victory at No. 2 singles against Maddy Winarski.
Sophomore Amanda Bandrowski of Traverse City, Michigan (St. Francis) topped her seventh consecutive opponent with a 6-4, 6-2 victory at No. 1 singles against Maria Franco.
Senior Natalie Rahrig of Fort Wayne, Indiana (Bishop Luers) claimed her sixth consecutive victory with a 6-0, 6-3 decision at No. 4 singles against Alex Oswalt.
Hope and Saint Mary's (1-0) remain the only teams unbeaten in MIAA matches.
