Three Hope College men's golfers have been named NCAA Division III PING All-Great Lakes Region honorees for the 2017-18 season by the Golf Coaches Association of America.

Junior Josh Gibson of Grandville, Michigan (Grandville HS) is receiving the recognition for the second time in his career. He earned the honor as a sophomore. He is pictured at left.

Senior Kade Hoeksema of Byron Center, Michigan (South Christian), pictured middle, and sophomore Daniel Settecerri of Bloomfield Hills, Michigan (Bloomfield Hills), pictured at right, are first-team honorees.

Hope joins Wittenberg (Ohio) University with a Great Lakes Region-high three golfers selected. There were 15 all-region golfers from the Great Lakes Region.

A total of 100 players across six regions — Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, South, Great Lakes, Central and West — earned all-region honors for 2018.

On Tuesday, Gibson was chosen one of five finalists for the NCAA Division III Jack Nicklaus National Player of the Year Award presented by Barbasol.
