Hope College's Ana Tucker has been chosen as the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week.

The freshman from Midland, Michigan (H.H. Dow HS) is honored after leading the nationally ranked Flying Dutch to a first-place team performance at their Vanderbilt Invitational on Saturday on the campus of Hope College.

Tucker finished second out of 50 runners in the 5K race. 

She clocked a time of 18 minutes, 36.5 seconds in her first race for the Flying Dutch.
