Men's Basketball Games vs. Adrian and Albion Postponed

by Alan Babbitt

Hope College is postponing this week's competition and pausing practice for the men's basketball team due to COVID-19 protocols. The Flying Dutchmen had been scheduled to play Adrian College at home and Albion College on the road.

The Hope women's basketball games against Concordia Chicago University and Albion College, both at DeVos Fieldhouse, remain scheduled to be played.

"Our priority in this challenging year has always been the safety and well-being of our student-athletes, coaches, and staff as well as our entire Hope community," said Tim Schoonveld, Hope's director of athletics. "As the men's basketball program pauses its practice and competition schedule this week due to COVID-19 protocols, we are disappointed, but we look forward to a return to basketball activities when medical staff determines it is safe to do so."

The men's basketball at Albion has been rescheduled for Monday, February 1 at 7:30 p.m.

Rescheduling the Adrian game is yet to be determined.
