A trio of two-goal scorers propelled the Hope College ice hockey team to a 9-0 road against Davenport University in Grand Rapids on Saturday and a weekend sweep.
The Flying Dutchmen, who improved their American Collegiate Hockey Association record to 4-0 overall, also won on Friday, 6-0, on home ice.
Brendan Sanders, Brad Baysore, and Gabe Gunneson all scored twice for Hope.
Baysore and Sanders also each recorded an assist.
Goalie Caleb VanHeest stopped all 18 shots he faced.
Hope returns to the ice with a two-game, weekend series against Lawrence Tech University.
The Flying Dutchmen host the series opener on Friday, February 19 at Griff's IceHouse West at 7:30 p.m.
