The Hope College men's basketball team drew a No. 3 seed for the 2021 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Tournament and will host a first-round game.
The Flying Dutchmen will face sixth-seeded Adrian College on Tuesday, March 2 at DeVos Fieldhouse. Tipoff is 7:30 p.m.
The remaining seeds are Trine University (No. 1), Albion College (No. 2), Calvin University (No. 4), Kalamazoo College (No. 5), Olivet College (No. 7), and Alma College (No. 8).
Tuesday's winners advance to the semifinals on Thursday, March 4 at the sites of the highest remaining seeds. The championship game is Saturday, March 6 at a time to be determined at the site of the highest remaining seed.
Hope (6-4 overall) is seeking to capture its 14th MIAA Tournament championship. The Flying Dutchmen lost in the 2020 first round at Adrian, 83-73.
This season, Hope earned an 89-86 victory at Adrian on February 25.
