The Hope College ice hockey team skated to a 4-1 season-opening victory at Adrian College on Thursday in American Collegiate Hockey Association play.
The Flying Dutchmen received 22 saves from goalie Lukas Schut and goals from four different players.
Gabe Gunneson and Allan Hirsch each recorded two assists.
Luke McKinch, Kevin Healy, Cole Stenstrom and Brad Baysore all scored for Hope.
The Flying Dutchmen's next game is Friday, February 5 at 7:30 p.m. vs. Adrian at Griff's IceHouse West.
