Hope College men's basketball senior Preston Granger has received all-region honors from D3hoops.com.
The forward from Lansing, Michigan (Lansing Christian HS) is one of five second-team honorees and 10 all-region selections overall.
This is the second consecutive Granger claimed all-region honors. Granger was a third-team selection in 2020.
"Preston had another outstanding year for us and again found himself on the All-MiAA First Team," head coach Greg Mitchell said. "He led the league in field goal percentage which is something he should be incredibly proud of. He made a conscious effort at being more selected regarding the types of shots that he took and I think that made him a much more efficient player."
This season, Granger ranked fifth in the MIAA in scoring at 18.4 per game.
In 11 games, Granger shot 61.5 percent from the field (80-130) while averaging a career-high 28.9 minutes per game.
The business major also averaged 6.5 rebounds and a career-high 1.7 assists per game.
Granger moved up to 15th on Hope's career-scoring list with 1,360 points in 92 games.
