Hope College is partnering with title sponsor Old National Bank to celebrate the start of the 2021-22 school year with Community Appreciation Night on Friday, September 3.
The public is invited to festivities that include free admission to three home sporting events on the Hope College campus, concession giveaways, and a fireworks display.
At 3:30 p.m., the Hope women's soccer team kicks off its 33rd season with a non-league game at Van Andel Soccer Stadium against DePauw University (Indiana).
At 6 p.m, the Hope men's soccer team begins its 59th season with a non-league game at Van Andel Soccer Stadium against Ohio Wesleyan University.
At 6 p.m, the Hope football team starts its 111th season with a non-league game at Ray and Sue Smith Stadium against Anderson University (Indiana).
At this time, capacities at home athletic events are not being limited or reduced. Also, no face coverings are currently required for fans at outdoor events at Hope College.
Hope's Face-Masking Policy for the Fall
At both soccer games and the football game, the first 100 fans will receive either free popcorn or candy from Hope Concessions.
After the football game, there will be fireworks over Ray and Sue Smith Stadium.
