The Hope College women's indoor track and field team recorded 11 Top 10 finishes at the Grand Valley State University Bob Eubanks Open on Saturday.
Senior Jacinda Cole (Holland, Michigan / West Ottawa HS) led the Flying Dutch at the non-scoring meet with a fourth-place run in the 1-mile of 5 minutes, 8.78 seconds on GVSU's oversized track. Junior Ellie Jankowski (Granger, Indiana / Penn) placed 10th at 5:19.68. Junior Heleyna Tucker (Midland, Michigan, H.H. Dow) was 11th at 5:21.06.
Cole teamed on the 4x400 relay with junior Julie Timperman (Lafayette, Indiana / Faith Christian), sophomore Madeline Moore (Hillsdale, Michigan / Hillsdale), and junior Grace Behrens (Mishawaka, Indiana / Trinity School at Greenlawn) for a fourth-place run of 4:21.21.

Hope's 4x400 relay of freshman Madalyn Arsenault (Gallup, New Mexico / Rehoboth Christian), senior Anna Haseley (Jenison, Michigan / Hudsonville), senior Erin Kloostra (Kalamazoo, Michigan / Loy Norrix), and senior Sophie Hall (Holt, Michigan / Haslett) took sixth place with a time of 4:23.21.
The Flying Dutch's 4x400 relay of Jankowski, sophomore Erin Moran (Arlington Heights, Illinois / John Hersey), sophomore Jessie Schamanek (Rochester, Michigan / Stoney Creek), and Rachel Fusik (Brighton, Michigan / Brighton) had an eighth-place effort of 4:26.16.
Three Hope runners finished in the Top 10 in the 800 meters: Schamanek in fifth at 2:22.44, Cole in sixth at 2:23.31, and Jankowski in ninth at 2:25.01. Freshman Audrey White (Muskegon, Michigan / Mona Shores) was 15th at 2:40.01.
Sophomore Rebecca Markham (Hoffman Estates, Illinois / William Fremd) clocked a seventh-place effort in the 3,000 meters at 10:21.86.
Fusik took ninth in the 600 meters at 1:51.67.
Freshman Allison Schram (Fenton, Michigan / Hartland) posted a ninth-place lea;p of 1.50 meters (4 feet, 11 inches).
Junior Amanda Lines (Naples, Florida / First Baptist Academy) recorded an 11th-place 60-meter dash of 8.31 seconds. Behrens was 17th at 8.44.
Lines finished 15th in the 200 meters at 26.92 seconds. Behrens was 19th at 27.56.
Sophomore Taylor Novotny (Batavia, Illinois / Batavia) took 17th in the long jump at 4.40 meters (14-5 ¼). Schram was 18th at 4.25 meters (13-11 ½).
Hope's next meet is Friday, Jan. 21, at 3 p.m. at Aquinas College.
