Sophomore Abby Koops Places Fourth on 3-Meter Board at Fletch Invitational

Hope College sophomore Abby Koops placed fourth out of 29 divers on the 3-meter board at the Fletch Invitational on Friday at Ohio University.

Koops (Grand Rapids, Michigan / Forest Hills Northern HS) posted a six-dive total of 236.40 points that was the second-highest among NCAA Division III divers.

Ohio, an NCAA Division I school, went 1-2 in the event: Halli Sawik first with 294.00 points and Sienna Breton runner-up with 271.80 points. Carnegie Mellon (Pa.) University's Kelli Kuramoto was third with 237.30 points.

Junior Sophia Farbarzhevich (Grand Rapids, Michigan / Forest Hills Northern) finished 14th with 194.45 points.
