The Hope College women's lacrosse team fell to No. 25-ranked University of Chicago, 19-6, on Saturday.

It was the first loss of the season for the Flying Dutch (3-1).

Senior Madison Micho (Grand Rapids, Michigan / East Grand Rapids HS), pictured, scored three goals to lead Hope.

The Flying Dutch also received one goal apiece from freshman Ruthie Anderson (Lowell, Michigan / Lowell), sophomore Molly Frederickson (Alto, Michigan / Lowell), and sophomore Kristen Szost (Jenison, Michigan / Jenison International).

Chicago never trailed after scoring the first four goals of the game and leading, 6-1, at the end of the first quarter.

Anneke Pulkkien topped Chicago (3-0) with three goals.

Hope's next game is Saturday, March 12, at 1 p.m. at Capital University (Ohio).
