The Hope College women's tennis team dropped a non-conference match at Denison University, 7-2, on Saturday.

The Flying Dutch lost to the Big Red of Denison 2-7. Hope's record is now 3-4 overall.

Freshman Sullivan Patel (Birmingham, Michigan / Wylie E. Groves HS) snagged one of two wins in the Flying Dutch's first road match of the season, 6-2 and 6-2.

Saydee Johns, a senior from (Holland, Michigan / Holland), notched Hope College's second win against Denison, taking her opponent to three sets and earning the win with 6-4, 2-6, and 1-0 scores. 

Hope's next match is on Saturday, March 19, at 11:30a against Colorado College in Orlando, Florida.
