The Hope College women's outdoor track and field team won three events during the two-day Davenport University this weekend.
Amanda Lines, Hayley Scollard, and Jacinda Cole all posted first-place performances for the Flying Dutch.
Hope recorded 27 Top 10 performances during the non-scoring meet that concluded on Saturday.
In the 100 meters, Lines clocked a winning and season-best time time of 12.83 seconds. The junior from Naples, Florida (First Baptist) also took third in the 200 meters with a season-best run of 27.29 seconds.
In the 400 hurdles, senior Hayley Scollard (Traverse City, Michigan / Traverse City Central) won by recording a time of 1:09.02.
Senior Sophie Hall (Holt, Michigan / Haslett) finished fourth at 1:11.04. Senior Anna Haseley (Jenison, Michigan / Jenison) placed sixth at 1:13.74. Senior Erin Kloostra (Kalamazoo, Michigan / Loy Norrix) was seven at 1:14.14.
In the 1,500, senior Jacinda Cole (Holland, Michigan / West Ottawa) clocked a winning and season-best time of 4:42.78.
Junior Ellie Jankowski (Granger, indiana / Penn) took third at 4:50.78 and was followed by junior Ana Tucker (Midland, Michigan / H.H. Dow) in fifth at 4:51.57 and sophomore Jessie Schamanek (Rochester, Michigan / Stoney Creek) in 10th at 5:05.32.
In the javelin, sophomore Riki Ediger (Hudsonville, Michigan / Hamilton) tossed a season-best throw of 31 feet. Sophomore Libby Strotman (Park Ridge, Illinois / Maine Township) placed fourth at 29.66 meters. Freshman Amanda Timonen (Palatine, Illinois / William Fremd) was fifth at 28.55 meters.
In the triple jump, sophomore Taylor Novotny (Batavia, Illinois / Batavia) recorded a third-place leap of 10.17 meters. Freshman Allison Schram (Fenton, Michigan / Hartland) took fourth at 9.55 meters. Senior Ellie Haan (McBain, Michigan / Northern Michigan Christian) was sixth at 9.12 meters.
In the 400 meters, junior Julie Timperman (Lafayette, Indiana / Faith Christian) finished sixth at 1:02.83. Sophomore Madeline Moore (Hillsdale, Michigan / Hiilsdale) was 10th at 1:04.71.
In the discus, Greta Robrahn posted a sixth-place toss of 35.99 meters. The freshman from Zeeland, Michigan / Zeeland East) also was sixth in the shot put at 12.17 meters.
In the long jump, Novotny recorded a distance of 4.88 meters. Schram placed ninth at 4.56 meters. Haan was 10th at 4.35 meters.
In the pole vault, junior Kyria Gowman (Livonia, Michigan / Adlai Stevenson) and sophomore Bethany Colbrunn (Zeeland, Michigan / Zeeland East) tied for eighth by clearing 2.76 meters.
In the 100 hurdles, freshman Lily Kueber (Saint Catherine of Siena) finished ninth with a run of 17.48 seconds. Scollard was 10th at 17.56.
Hope's next week is the MIAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships on Thursday-Friday, May 5-6, at Albion College.
