The Hope College women's track and field team clocked three season-best runs this weekend at the Saint Francis University (Ill.) Fighting Chance Invitational.
On Friday, in the top 1,500-meter race, senior Jacinda Cole (Holland, Michigan / West Ottawa HS) recorded a lifetime-best effort of 4 minutes, 37.15 seconds and finished 11th.
In another 1,500-meter heat, junior Ellie Jankowski (Granger, Indiana / Penn) took fourth with a lifetime-best time of 4:40.63.
On Saturday, in the 800 meters, Jankowski finished 13th with a season-best time of 2:17.42.
Cole was 19th at 2:22.52.
