Hope College's Ana Tucker has qualified for the NCAA Division III Women's Outdoor Track and Field Championships in two events.
The junior from Midland, Michigan (H.H. Dow) can compete in the 5,000 meters and the 10,000 meters at next week's meet at SPIRE Institute in Geneva, Ohio. The championships run from Thursday-Saturday, May 26-28.
Tucker clocked the seventh-fastest time in the 5,000 meters this spring with a school-record run of 16 minutes, 36.95 seconds.
Tucker recorded the eighth-fastest time in the 10,000 meters this spring with a school-record performance of 35:19.33.
NCAA Women's Qualifying List
Tucker is seeking back-to-back, All-America honors in the 5,000 meters.
In 2021, Tucker posted Hope's top finish in the event at nationals with a fourth-place time of 16:40.66.
Tucker is seeking to join Marcia VanderSall (1992-93) as two-time, All-America 1,500-meter runners.
In March, Tucker qualified for the NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field Championships in the 5,000 meters but did not compete.
