Sophomore Liam Casey Selected as MIAA Men's Golfer of the Week

Hope College's Liam Casey has been named the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Men's Golfer of the Week.

The sophomore from Northville, Michigan / Detroit Catholic Central HS) is receiving the honor for the first time this season and the fourth time in his career.

Casey carded a 1-under-par 71 at The Medalist Golf Club in Marshall on Wednesday during the final MIAA fall jamboree of the season.

While sharing medalist honors, Casey helped the Flying Dutchmen record a winning total of 299 and extend their lead in the season standings by four strokes.
