Men's Soccer's Cole Pauly Claims United Soccer Coaches All-Region Honors

Defender Cole Pauly of the Hope College men's soccer team has received 2023 all-region honors for NCAA Division III from the United Soccer Coaches organization.

The sophomore from Mundelein, Illinois (Mundelein HS) is one of three second-team defenders in Region VIII and one of 10 defenders overall selected from the region.

Pauly anchored the Flying Dutchmen's defense as a center-back.

With Pauly's help, Hope led the MIAA in goals-against-average for all games at 0.67 and ranked second in conference play at 1.00.

Offensively, Pauly contributed a career-best four goals and two assists.

After the season, Pauly was named to the All-MIAA First Team for the second consecutive season.

Hope finished the season with an 11-4-3 overall record.
