Men's Indoor Track/Field Posts Three Top-5 Finishes at GVSU Tune-Up

The Hope College men's indoor track and field team posted three Top-5 finishes at the Grand Valley State University Tune-Up on Friday.

In the 60-meter hurdles, senior Jackson Player (San Antonio, Texas / Winston Churchill HS) clocked a third-place run of 8.63 seconds during the non-scoring meet.

In the triple jump, senior Lukas DeLibero (Novi, Michigan / Detroit Catholic Central) recorded a fourth-place leap of 10.10 meters (33-5 ¼).

In the 800-meter run, junior Dan Campbell (Brighton, Michigan / Brighton) finished fifth after posting a time of 1:58.40.

Freshman Liam Danitz (West Branch, Michigan / Ogemaw Heights) posted a sixth-place run in the 60-meter dash of 7.08 seconds.

Danitz also led Hope in the 200 meters with an eighth-place sprint of 23.02 seconds.

Senior Nathan Woolum (Mattawan, Michigan / Mattawan) took seventh in the 60-meter hurdles by clocking a time of 9.16.

Player finished sixth in the high jump after clearing 1.76 meters (5-9 ¼). Junior Nathan Colbrunn (Zeeland, Michigan / Zeeland East) was seventh at 1.66 meters (5-5 ¼).

Freshman Wyatt Marsh (Grand Blanc, Michigan / Lake Fenton) topped the Flying Dutchmen in the 400 meters with a run of 52.06.

Hope's next meet is the MIAA Indoor Championships on Saturday, Feb. 25, at 9:30 a.m. at Trine University.
