Men's Track/Field Puts Four on All-MIAA Team

Four members of the Hope College men's indoor track and field team have claimed All-MIAA honors for the 2023 season: junior Eli Meder, sophomore Lucas Guidone, sophomore Connor Vachon, and freshman Wyatt Marsh.

Meder (Williamston, Michigan / Lansing Catholic HS) earned his first MIAA recognitions in indoor track by winning the 800-meter run and being on the first-place 4x400 relay at last week's league championships.

The business and economics major clocked an 800-meter time of 1 minute, 55.0 seconds. 

Vachon (Jenison, Michigan / Jenison) received his first All-MIAA honors in indoor track by posting a winning 1-mile run of 4:16.06 and running on the 4x400 relay. 

Vachon is a computer science and mathematics education major.

Guidone (Chicago, Illinois / Taft) and Marsh (Grand Blanc, Michigan / Grand Blanc) also raced on the 4x400 relay that posted a first-place time of 3:26.30. 

The All-MIAA awards are the first for Guidone and Marsh.
