Men's Track/Field Posts Three Top Eight Finishes at Augustana Twilight

The Hope College men's outdoor track and field team posted three top-eight performances at the Augustana College (Ill.) Midwest Twilight on Thursday.

In the 400-meter hurdles, senior Nathan Woolum (Mattawan, Michigan / Mattawan) clocked a sixth-place time of 54.18 seconds.

In the 800 meters, junior Eli Meder (Williamston, Michigan / Lansing Catholic) took seventh by posting a run of 1:51.00.

In the 200 meters, freshman Liam Danitz (West Branch, Michigan / Ogemaw Heights) finished eighth with a time of 21.90 seconds.

Danitz also placed 14th in the 100-meter prelims after recording a run of 10.97 seconds.

In the 1,500 meters, sophomore Connor Vachon (Jenison, Michigan / Jenison) placed 12th with his season-best time of 3:51.47.

Sophomore Lucas Guidone (Chicago, Illinois / Taft) was 19th at 3:58.02, his best time of the season.
