Men's Golfer Liam Casey Claims PING All-Region Honor

Hope College's Liam Casey has been named as a 2024 PING All-Region honoree for NCAA Division III, the Golf Coaches Association of America announced.

The sophomore from Northville, Michigan (Detroit Catholic Central HS is one of 15 selections in Region V. The regional honorees include golfers from Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio and Pennsylvania.

This is Casey's first all-region accolade.

Casey earned MIAA Most Valuable Men's Golf honors for the first time this season while leading the Flying Dutchmen to a second consecutive MIAA championship and 23rd overall.

Casey averaged a league-low 74.5 strokes over 108 holes of league play last fall and this spring.

Casey also averaged 74.5 over two rounds at the NCAA Division III Championships in Boulder City, Nevada, and helped the Flying Dutchmen finish 24th in the nation.
