Four Earn All-MIAA Men's Track and Field Accolades

Four standouts from Hope College made the 2024 All-MIAA MIAA Men's Outdoor Track and Field Team: seniors Dan Campbell and Eli Meder, and juniors Aidan Kyle and Connor Vachon.

Campbell (Brighton, Michigan / Brighton HS) earned his first All-MIAA outdoor honor after a historic run at the MIAA Outdoor Championships on Friday at the Gainey Athletic Complex in Grand Rapids.

The physical and health education major became the Flying Dutchmen's first MIAA steeplechase champion.

Meder (Williamston, Michigan / Lansing Catholic) claimed All-MIAA outdoor accolades for the third consecutive outdoor season.

The business and economics major won his second 800-meter title in three MIAA Outdoor Championships on Friday.

Kyle (Weston, Connecticut / Weston) received his third All-MIAA outdoor award following a historical javelin throw at the conference meet.

The communication major became the Flying Dutchmen's first javelin thrower — and the fifth in league history — to place first in the event in three consecutive seasons.

Vachon (Jenison, Michigan / Jenison) ran his way to a second consecutive All-MIAA outdoor honor.

The secondary education major repeated as league champion in the 1,500 meters.
