The program first recognizes men's track and field/cross country Academic All-District® honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.

A select number of recipients, including Meder and Vachon, advanced to the Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced later this summer.

Campbell (Brighton, Michigan / Brighton) graduated in May after majoring in physical and health education.

As a senior, Campbell became the Flying Dutchmen's first MIAA champion in the 3,000-meter steeplechase.

Campbell earned United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association all-region and All-MIAA honors in the outdoor event.

Meder (Williamston, Michigan / Lansing Catholic HS) graduated in May after majoring in both business and economics.

As a senior, Meder received Academic All-District® distinction for the second consecutive season. He qualified for indoor nationals in the 800 meters and placed 13th.

Meder claimed USTFCCCA indoor and outdoor all-region honors in the 800 meters and indoor all-region accolades in the mile and distance medley relay. He was the MIAA indoor and outdoor champion in the 800 meters.

Meder also ran for the Flying Dutchmen's cross country team.

Vachon (Jenison, Michigan / Jenison) is a secondary education major with a focus on computer science and mathematics.

As a junior, Vachon qualified for the NCAA Division III Championships in both cross country and outdoor track and field. He earned USTFCCCA outdoor all-region honors and repeated as MIAA champion in the 1,500 meters. He finished 13th in the event at nationals.

Vachon claimed indoor all-region recognition in the 3,000 meters and the distance medley relay, and was MIAA champion in the 1-mile run.
