Seven Chosen for CSCAA Scholar All-America Women's Teams

Six Hope College women's swimmers and one diver have been selected for the 2023-24 College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America Scholar All-American Teams.

Swimmers Greta Gidley, Katie Hermann, Lauren Ryle, Laurel Wasiniak and Delaney Wesolek are first-team honorees. Diver Cameron Hamilton and swimmer Anna Stolle made the second team.

They all helped the Flying Dutch claim a fourth consecutive MIAA championship in February.

Gidley (Franklin, Michigan / Mercy HS) is an elementary education major. During her junior season, Gidley finished national runner-up in the 200-yard individual medley for the second consecutive season and was chosen as a College Sports Communicators Academic All-American in April.

Hermann (Canton, Michigan / Mercy) is an exercise science major who competed last season as a sophomore.

Ryle (Grand Rapids, Michigan / Catholic Central) is pursuing a double major in business and psychology and raced as a junior during the 2023-24 season.

Wasiniak (Northville, Michigan / Northville) is a chemical engineering major who competed as a sophomore last season.

Wesolek (Bay City, Michigan / John Glenn) graduated in May after majoring in nursing.

Hamilton (Libertyville, Illinois / Libertyville) graduated in May after majoring in political science.

Stolle (Fishers, Indiana / Hamilton Southwestern) is a biochemistry and molecular biology major who swam as a freshman.
