Six from Women's Soccer Earn Academic All-District Honors

Six Hope College women's soccer standouts claimed Academic All-District® honors from the College Sports Communicators: defenders Olivia Dieppa, Megan McCauley and Bri Rose; forwards Ainsley Harris and Carley Wagasky; and midfielder Liz Bellinger.

Bellinger (Williamston, Michigan / Williamston HS) is a physical and health education major.

The junior made the Academic All-District Team for the second consecutive season. Bellinger scored three goals for the third consecutive season.

Dieppa (Hudsonville, Michigan / Hudsonville) is an exercise science major.

The junior delivered on the defensive end for Hope while also netting a career-high three goals in 17 matches.

Harris (Zeeland, Michigan / Holland Christian) is a physical and health education major.

The junior scored a career-high five goals this season over 18 games while also contributing four assists. Harris also was named to the United Soccer Coaches All-Region Third Team and the All-MIAA First Team.

McCauley (Rockford, Michigan / Rockford) is a political science major.

The junior played in all 18 games for the Flying Dutch and anchored a defense that finished with a 1.00 goals-against average. A three-year starter, McCauley recorded her first career assist this season.

Rose (Hudsonville, Michigan / Unity Christian) is an elementary education major.

The sophomore set career-highs in games played (18), starts (14) and assists (5) this season.

Wagasky (Grand Haven, Michigan / Grand Haven) is a chemistry major.

Over 18 games, the senior registered career-highs in goals (10), points (20) and game-winning goals (3). Wagasky also was named to the United Soccer Coaches All-Region Fourth Team and the All-MIAA First Team.
